Treestyle Consultancy originated whilst I was lecturing at Myerscough College as an instructor/assessor/lecturer. Prior to this I studied at University Centre for four years, spent a year as a climbing Arborist in Australia and a few years working within the UK industry. During a successful ten year working relationship, where I initially set up the consultancy business, the contacts made aloud for a large client base where most local authorities use and recommend us. I still have an excellent working relationship with Myerscough and regularly lecture tree hazard awareness courses and practical courses in Forestry and Arboriculture.

A good percentage of the client base is from private individuals looking for tree condition surveys, mortgage reports for insurance companies and developments near trees. Through word of mouth larger companies now use Treestyle Consultancy e.g. DBE Services Ltd, Beechwood Industries, Helmrig and hundreds of northwest schools and colleges. Of recent years we have surveyed all of Blackpools trees for the local authority, used and recommended by Chorley Council for major projects and more recently redeveloping Prestons parks. Preston City Council uses our services for planning applications helping in the applications for tree work. Whilst most of the surveying in based in the Northwest of England, myself and my colleagues regularly visit Liverpool, Manchester, Southport and the Lake District.
